Psychotherapy Services

As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I can offer psychotherapy which is covered by many health insurance providers.

I provide therapy virtually and in-person, by request, at the Toronto Wellness Collective at 489 College Street, Suite 201, Toronto, Ontario.

Rates are $165/session + HST.  If you are interested in working with me as your therapist, I always offer a free consultation in advance of working together. Contact me at aly@awcgrief.com and we’ll schedule a time to speak. You can also call (437) 747-0825 and ask to book a consultation with me.

I work as part of a large team of grief therapists at AWC Grief Support (formerly Andrea Warnick Consulting). If you find that we are not a good match to work together, I can refer you to another team member who would be better able to meet your needs.

Free Author Q&A about Grief Ally

I am always willing to do virtual Q&A sessions with anyone who wants to have a discussion about what I teach in Grief Ally: Helping People You Love Cope with Death, Loss, and Grief. These sessions are 1 hour and a include a brief introduction about my mission, work and overview of Grief Allyship. Then a discussion is facilitated amongst the group.

Speaking/Presentations

I am available as a keynote speaker on how to create a culture of care for the bereaved. Rates are dependent on the audience size and whether the presentation is delivered virtually or in-person.

Discounts are available for charities and not-for-profit organizations. Virtual talks for public libraries are always free.

“This was a heart-centred discussion that was raw and authentic. I was overwhelmed by the openness with which people shared. I feel like crying but in a good way”

2023 Workshop Participant

“Aly was very responsive to requests and communication from us during our planning stages.  She worked with us to create a presentation that matched the theme and objectives of our conference.  The content of her presentation was relevant, easy to apply to our own lives and practice, and inspired all who were in attendance to do better when working with someone who is grieving.  Her presentation skills are top notch – the audience was engaged and alternated between tears and laughter the whole time.  Overall, a very positive experience for those planning and attending the conference.”

Organizers of the 2023 North Simcoe Muskoka Hospice Palliative Care Network

“In the words of one of the attendees, “Aly is so down to earth and personable!” She is an exceptional speaker and author (which we can say now that we’ve read her book “Grief Ally”). We were able to add a few copies of it to our community-based hospice’s lending library. Everyone in attendance at her talk took home something they learned! Our volunteers were grateful for the opportunity to have the discussion on “Amplifying Your Impact in Grief Support” and feel we are better equipped to support those when it comes to grief literacy.
